Wuddup doe, I believe that everything happens for a reason. One year ago, you were with your lady at the ball, and I was at the front of the line, about to buy a drink. She asked if I could buy her water, so I did – two bottles, in fact. The bill came to $22, making it the most expensive water I’ve ever purchased, specifically at the 100 Black Men’s Ball in the Bay Area. I’m taking that as a lesson for myself. I see myself as that premium, $11 bottle of water, destined for spaces where I’m valued at the highest level. I refuse to be that average, quarter-priced bottle of water at the grocery store. Instead, I aim to be marked at $11, a 44 times markup. That’s the value I want to bring into my life, and that’s the value I want to feel from others in my life.
