We deserve to live longer keep fighting

I’m taking things day by day working on what’s most important to me. My food intake, my health, my mental health. I’ve been back in the FA for 4 days now. Still working to be abstinent. Eventually I’m going to get a sponsor encouraging others to participate in the journey that I know works for me. I’m focused on me and getting to where I want to go.
Enter this morning on meditated for about 4 minutes without myself up and moving around before my timer went off. But I’ll give it an attempt and have gratitude for my life and for love. Answer. Enter online this week and today. This week I went to a funeral for my coach who was a security guard and a counselor to young black men and high school varsity football coach. You advocated for us implemented breakfast and after school programs to help feed us. Got to find more about him and the coaches that he helped. He gave a lot of them their first coaching job which is their passion of coaching. It was great to celebrate the lot of life of him on Monday with some of my old teammates from a football team and some younger and older teammates. Also got to see a friend that lived in the same neighborhood I did there. Who I found out was his family.

We need to celebrate these black men who are doing wonderful things while they’re alive because our lives are being cut short if not from violence. It’s from stress and weight, poor eating environments and the communities that we come from. We have to do a better job of improving our community and taking care of our health and wellness. Go get your heart checked. If you need to take that medicine to make you live longer, take that medicine. Black man. You belong here. You deserve to be here and I love you dog peace.
